The holiday started early here at MSA.  A package has arrived with latest offerings ordered from Turn of the Centuries, the work of Illustrator, Preservationist, Map Maker, fellow CAUS colleague, friend, and ridiculously talented Kirsten Sparenborg.

This Is Savannah, Vol. 2 “is the second Volume in a series of drawings which combine elevations and perspectives to illustrate the architectural edges of the streets of Savannah, block by block.”

The limited edition handmade book focuses on Jones Street (one of many streets Kirsten documented in her seven years in Savannah, GA) where she could often be found with sketchbook and pen drawing the endlessly beautiful homes and buildings.

As if the book wasn’t enough, Kirsten produces prints and cards of the many drawings she has made over the years.  Some are even available for purchase on her etsy page:
